Two and a half minutes to do a full food shop is ridiculous though. And in an unfamilar shop. They did well to come back with two trolleys full.

It would have been either grab everything within reach, or run about in a panic looking for specific bits and run out of time. They did well (or I assume they did, we'll see what happened later!)

Darryn - "How are you gonna eat all those sweets"

    Jedward - "Don't know"

    LOL

Jackie Stallone would have Darryn's number in a quick minute . Remeber her immortal line to John McCrirrick - "He didn't get that way from not eating his dinner"

Darryn needs to sort himself out with the food the man is living monstrosity.

I think for 2 and a half minutes each they did well.
you just grab armfuls of stuff with in reach, in case you run out of time.

    hope everyone likes bananas!

    no tuna
    no bread
    could be an issue!

I agree with Kerry, they did really well considering they only had 2 & a half minutes and didn't know where anything was.

I noticed Darryn was okay about the food when he was talking to Tara, he only started complaining when he was talking about it with Paddy.

I'm finding it rather odd that everyone is seeing Tuna as a staple? Is it real a basic necessity to survive?

I think it's the case that the twins eat a lot of it, like when Edward squirted ketchup over a full tin of tuna and walked off eating it?

And I think that's why Darryn hid it from them. I could be wrong though!

I love it when HMs make big plans for the next day or what they'll cook for everyone, and then they get booted out :D

it is a staple food in the twins world, they eat in by the can full, so they obviously just didn't see any in time. else they'd be loads of it!

I think most people would have struggled to get a well balanced shopping budget in two and a half minutes : it sounds like they did just fine, and it was inevitable they'd miss a few essential items.

Grrr.. I cannot stand Darryn - he so vain. Sorry, just have to vent. He looks ridiculous with his abs and the silicone implants in his shoulders to imitate muscle - everything about him is fake. His wealth depends on him being a sleazeball though and not doing anything of merit, so I shouldn't be surprised.

    Rant over. ;)

Why? They forgot tuna, bread and cereal, which is usually what they seem to live on.

If Darryn had not lost the task, he could have done the shopping. Now real abs would have made him stronger.

Can you imagine him running to do a trolley dash:p
