According to Ceefax Sharon Stone is to appear in 4 episodes as a prosecting ADA. Dates as yet unknown but she'll be a former Police Office turned Prosecutor.

This could be the culmination of the seemingly underlying story arc about the SVU and the DA's office being at loggerheads.

Hope this doesn't spell the end (again) for Stephanie however - she's been my favourite for a long time.

    I know that when this season started they said the one who liked a drinkie or two was in it for 4/5 then Alex was back for around 8/10 but then they weren't sure who would fill the gap from there - sounds like you have the answer :)

    Alex Cabot is my favourite on the show as well, this season she will be in 10 episodes (5 already) which includes "Quickie" which has just aired.

    I think the Sharon Stone episodes will be like the Christine Lahti ones and they will say Cabot is off helping some where else.
