They've done the whole tall pro/small celeb arc with Brendan when he was partnered with Lulu. I think it tends to negatively impact of the celeb, so I'm a bit disappointed for Sunetra, as much as I like Brendan.

Well I got 2 right: Jennifer & Tristan and Thom & Iveta. Alison and Alijaz is going to be AMAZINGLY entertaining! Natalie has never ever been paired with an older celebrity, so it seems fair to me. Aliona, I am feeling sorry for. 3 years in a row with one of the obvious duffers. Let's see if she has upped her acting lessons and worked on her 'happy' face when it's announced. Sunetra and Brendan is just an awful pairing IMO and I'm very annoyed Pasha has yet again got another young(er) celebrity. He's becoming our Derek Hough! Pixie and Trent confuses me...
I'm quite surprised as Tristan getting Jennifer really. He already has a fanbase, he's the first main pro from DWTS (I think, I'm sure I'll be corrected!) and had a lot of warm feedback after the red carpet event, so to see him paired with an older, not-so-well-known lady is definitely a shocker. I thought they'd have wanted to show him off a bit more.

Never underestimate the power of a 'Irish vote' from all us Paddy's living in the UK. Remember 'Tesco Mary' from another show? Plus, I'd say Mrs. Brown's Boys is a tad more relevant and popular than the likes of Casualty and Bargain Hunt these days, so I wouldn't really call her an 'unknown'.

That's true. The height difference was ridiculous. It can't have been easy to teach him when there was such a height difference.

I think having a shorter female celeb with a taller male pro would be easier than the other way around - I dont know why tho

Gutted for Judy, if this is correct ~ I guess we'll never find out if she did have potential
And I do hope we're not going to see a lazy, producer-contrived Caroline/Pasha 'showmance'
They did with Lulu. Seems stupid to me though. Thought lessons had been learned there.

Neither did I, but looking at a lot of the pairings, I don't think the producers care about the heights.
I'd have thought Aliona was too tall for Gregg too, and Brendan is going to tower over Sunetra.
