I measured it and it was 12 inches. Quite impressive!

12 inches of snow and still snowing here on Tayside. No red warnings, no tv crews, no chaos, just folks who have seen it all before getting on with things and mucking in.
Have you ever had a full twelve inches in your own area?

I was about to add a bit about snowballs
i measured about 10 areas of a short grass well exposed field and the average is 12 "
I am aware that muggle depths are notorious but this is an official depth
Ere - stop messing about!
You missed the joke there i think!
I did not and i did not miss a chance to be a weather pedant either;)
and has it gone a funny colour?
As the saying goes.....
Don't eat the yellow snow....
Here we've had a good 6 - 7" since Friday and on the fields it hasn't melted at all.
When it gets to 13" it gets a bit soft and saggy.
I'd settle for a solid 7", I'm not greedy.
January intake?
