March the 14th is now officially a day called steak and blow job day where women show their appreciation for their man by cooking him and a steak and giving him oral sex. Apparently it's only fair seeing as all that effort they put in to valentines day for you. What are your thoughts on this and is anyone actually going to do it for their partner?

I text my boyfriend about it this morning. He sent back a ranting text about yet another bloody celebration he he has never heard of. It made me laugh so much. He called me at lunch time obviously much more awake to confirm he would be celebrating it.

Does it make me sound boring to say that I don't celebrate valentines day and that I think this day is just as ridiculous? How comes we are trying to stereotype men as only caring about sex and food in a relationship and how comes we are stereotyping women as only finding stupid presents like flowers romantic?
I'm not saying my boyfriend doesn't recieve blowjobs or food but I find it abit sexist towards men that we are basically saying they need this day because they hate valentines day because they aren't interested in any romantic/emotional connection in the relationship and only care about how well a woman performs in the kitchen and bed. Isn't that really old fashioned?
