I think the longest gap between release and being on a Now (Apart from Dustys tribute on Now 42) was Steps 'Tragedy'. It was released in November 1998 but was left 12 months before being released on Now 44. Oddly, it's double A-side (Heartbeat) was released on Now 41 the year before. :D

It's because Steps rule and everyone knows it - I think Now 44 is probs one of the best NOWs along with Now 47, Now 50 and Now 68

Why would there be. She hasn't released a single in ages... thank god! I'm a fan and even I was getting fed up with the constant stream of releases.

I'm very happy that the full length version of Crying for No Reason has made it. The last 30 seconds are fantastic and unfortunately that's the bit which gets cut on the radio edit.

Even though the R Kelly version is the 'main' version, I do wish the Christina version of Do What U Want was on it instead. It's far superior. Missing Clean Bandit is criminal. Shame on Warners for being such miserable bastards!!

It's also the first time a Kylie lead single hasn't been featured since 1997! Only two of her proper Parlophone releases have been skipped before (Better than Today and Timebomb) so her absence really sticks out here.

It wasn't a huge flop either, and let's face it, a lot of those tracks weren't either...

Yep, they appear on the confirmed tracklist although they didn't appear on the unofficial/presumed one. :)

I'm not so sure. Some edits they make are VERY dodgy.

Some very questionable choices in that track listing.

None of these were even remotely hits. Sure, most of them peaked high, but they also flew down in the charts and were gone within a matter of weeks. And I say that as a fan of most of them (especially 'Word Up' and 'Dance with Me'). 'Out of My Head' is got to be the biggest joke, considering it's just out today and looks set to massively flop.

The album cover looks like something the CBeebies channel would use as a testcard.

Most of the tuneless crap (notably the first 15 tracks on disc 2) on NOW 87 certainly appeals to R1 & Capital FM listeners.

    Meh.

I think that some of these are fillers due to them not being able to feature Warner artists otherwise they would of had Clean Bandit, David Guetta, Jason Derulo and a few other big hits they have missed. One can only hope they come to some sort of agreement to feature Warner artists again on Now 88.

But in all fairness given the stick you've all given Now 87 on here, it still features 10 Number 1 singles, which is still rather impressive for a Now album.
