If you try to touch it with anything but your fingertip they just don't work?
do you like it?

I'd be quite happy to never find out.

Is that what makes a printer "smart"?

Can't actually recall the last time I touched my printer at all other than, perhaps, in the course of taking something off it.
Not even sure if it has buttons on it, to be pressed.

    Its obviously just me then.
Ive got long(natural I hasten to add)nails and if I touch my printer it doesn't work,,,,
    I then try my knuckle...any knuckle.....it still doesn't work
Last of all I try my fingertips.....but it doesn't work unless the bloody fingertip is in the right place for the printer.
Then the printer tells ME that it is offline....erm hello printer..i never said you were.
This printer has a mind of its own.
It even has told me it is disconnected when I know for a fact I am connected.
I hate this printer ....its all about itself.
