To be honest, although you could tell it was green screen, it was still very well done and the scenes were really well done. I like the Michael/Janine story now it's taken a slightly different twist.

Not really, its a predictable one that everyone called on their first date.

    Shame really.

I actually did think it for a while but then changed my mind and really believed he loved her. I was so not expecting that ending.

Now we know what is behind Janine's six months vanishing act.

Maybe his face was just upset at the fact she mentioned the pre-nup after he went on about destiny and that they were meant to be. He wants it to be about love and trust. At least I hope so! Their relationship is brilliant I don't want the simple money storyline to ruin it!!

Pre-nups aren't legal in the UK.

I suspect Michael knows that - and he was expecting Janine to demand one.

Hence his smirk at the end as he knows he'd still end up with her money..

You think that Janine knows that Michael is playing but is going along with it anyway? Why? What would be the point?

She may be smart in some areas but she always picks assholes for blokes apart from poor Paul.

What actually goes on in the Gherkin?

It's an investment building with a restaurant on the 39th floor.

I think Michael does love Janine and thinks that the money is only a good thing. I think if we were supposed to think Michael was only with her for her money, his face at the end would have been disappointment and unhappy. He just had his thinking face on

The gherkin is also a wedding venue.

Why was there a green screen? Is there not a view from the top of the gherkin?
And why would he get any of her money anyway? She would have a child to support and they'd look at who brought what in

It's not about the money. He wants to be in control and for her to be dependent on him

I enjoyed that. Nice twist at the end.:D
I'm glad they're back together but do not expect a smooth path for such twisted characters.
Who know's what Michael was thinking at the end there, he gave nothing away. To be sure he will not stop scheming but neither will his bride-to-be ( or not ;) )
Lovely venue. What a fantastic place the Gherkin is. I can see it becoming THE place for a proposal for a while :p

Zainab and Denise gave us some great scenes.

Euk to Mandy's mother. Still she should liven up the Beales.
