Setting up alerts when partner enters a diary on iPad HELP

I have just set up an iCloud account so that I can enter stuff on my diary on my iphone and the same on my wife's ipad2 just wondered if there is an alert what can be seen for example if I put an entry on my iphone she gets the alert to see that I have done that.
