Starts up at 14:00!

I've notiche for the last week (maybe longer?!?) my 9200 comes out of standby at 14:00 and sais STING on the LCD, it then switches off. Why is this?

    Have you modified the "check for updates" time in the Preferences menu? The default behaviour is for the box to wake up at 04:00 to check if a new version of the software is being broadcast. I suspect you accidentaly changed 04:00 to 14:00.

    Just out of curiosity, what does STING mean? Only thing I can think of is a contraction of STARTING, but the display is long enough for the whole word :confused:

    I always assumed it was the end of the word "Testing" as it goes through a self-check routine on boot-up

    ...in the next version of the software, it's been reported that STING has been changed to DUOVISIO - perhaps less confusing....
