You have to hand it to ITV. They consistently do annoying very very well, then intersperse it with adverts that are better than the coverage. Ian Wright 'man about town' was not just a new low, but a rehashed low of Paul Gascoinge 2002. Only positives being Lee Dixon and Gabriel Clark.
A few of the lights in the, er, floodlights (the ones to the right on the main camera angle) have gone off twice, according to some journalists at the stadium.
I did notice a change in picture brightness during the game but thought it was just an anomaly with the feed.
I would suggest that the top DOG is, as was stated, the world feed and the bottom line is created by each broadcaster. I would not criticize ITV for the size of its DOG as it is kept in the style of the main DOG.
The entire DOG is ITV's.
What on earth is making people think the score part is from the world feed? It's nothing like the captions that appear at the bottom.
I'm not watching thwe match as i refuse to watch ITV however John Murray said on 5Live that it's a request from FIFA that they have to show every goal from the tournament with the goal line technology, regardless of weather it was close or not.
I haven't seen a scorebar this bad since the dying days of the first Playstation. Off to RTÉ I go.
Don't bother. There's a very intrusive black vertical line to the right of the RTE scorebar - it's as if they stuck on the scorebar graphic with a transparent sticker and forgot to line it up unobtrusively. It's very distracting.

Pretty much the same on RTÉ except flags instead of the colours of the shirts.

The one on RTE is replicated across most of Europe. It's nice and not intrusive. Why do ITV and the BBC always use their own?

Because British TV broadcast organisations (have historically) prided themselves on innovation rather than following the crowd?
Im guessing that one is the world feed one then, and BBC/ITV take a clean feed of the world feed and apply their own garbage?
What nonsense. Has anybody got a proper answer?
I'm intrigued to see what it'll end up being
Well, except people who work for the BBC of course.
Me neither.

Archie.
To be fair, I was only guessing.
It has to be approved/disapproved by Herr Blatter first. He is currently occupied drinking a glass of bubbly.
