According to Perez Hilton, Lea is going to sing a 'powerful' song at end of memorial episode. I have a feeling it might be either My heart will go on or To where you are by Josh Groban
Probably insensitive but I watch Glee back from the start and all it says to me is that Monteith wasn't really a fantastic actor at all. Very awkward and stilted
To be honest I agree, I never considered him to be a good actor or singer either. That being said I was saddened by his death and glee certainly won't be the same without him.

I think he was acting as an awkward, stiff teenager. He wasn't like that in other movies.
Just watching Stargate episode '200' and Cory was in it.
I also didn't realise he was in Kyle XY.
It's weird how sometimes an actor or actress will be in shows for ages but it is only when you see them in certain roles, such as Cory in Glee, that you start to recognise them.

^^^ This. Of all the *cough* somewhat mature teenagers in the cast, Cory's portrayal of the inarticulate, troubled jock Finn was IMO by far the most authentic .... it only became a stretch when his weedy, strained vocals were claimed to be vital for ND's chances at Sectionals/Regionals/Nationals that I could no longer suspend my disbelief.

He'd done quite a bit of minor roles stuff before he landed Glee.

I agree. With regards to vocals, they were vital, they didn't have 12 members otherwise
However, while he was never one of the strongest male vocalists, I actually really enjoyed listening to him and I think he improved incredibly over the four years.

Also Romy Rosemont who plays Carole Hudson has tweeted she's in ep 3 as we would have expected.
Rachel / Lea is only in it at the end and sings the final song of the ep.

That's going to be a box of tissues job then.

I agree, he played a teen growing into his body very well
