The Emperor-esque 'Sith' lightening from the Master's Hands?
The Time Lords gathering was very similar to the Senate in SWs ep 1 and 2
The bar at the end where Captain Jack was akin to Mos Eisley Cantina
Apologies if this already been done. Can't keep up with the threads:cool:!

And of course the Gun Turrents on the "cactus people's" ship that Wilf and the Male cactus manned against the Missiles. I was almost expecting a "Don't get cocky" from someone.... (I thought that was the most obvious one)
Watch out for a lot of nods to Lost from Mr Moffat in Series 5. I've noticed a lot of nods to Lost in a lot of his Series 3 & 4 stories especially in Silence in the Library...dark shadowy smoke monster, floor hatch, style of spacesuit, "Who are the others ?" and more ...but that would be telling.
He's also a life long Troughton fan, hence the long legged mini-skirted companion.
Perhaps a nod to each at the end of last night's episode.
Lost - "Legs! I've got legs!"
Troughton - The last shot of the Doc spinning down out of control similar to PT's forced regeneration.
-space filler-
Perhaps he should have shouted "Barrowman" in a Kirkesque "Khaaaaan" style at some point.
I gave up on Lost very early - not my cup of tea, so any references will be "lost" on me.
By the look of the trailer it seems Matt will have a University Professor style image with the tweed jacket and bow tie (I've not looked at any pictures from the shooting of the series). So if we are going to get PT type nods will he play some sort of musical instrument like a recorder?
I thought that too
I'm sure that's what RTD told himself anyway
And a nod to Star Trek when Spock sacrificed himself by going into the radiation filled booth (sounds familiar?) and his hand against the side of the booth (almost Titanic!). I was waiting for a voice to declaim, '...I have been and always shall be ... your friend. Live long and prosper.'
