I honestly cannot understand why anyone would want to lose their dignity by allowing someone to do this to them!

Wax yourself by all means, I personally shave or use a special depilatory cream, but I cannot begin to imagine the attraction of getting your bits out to a stranger for them to inflict pain on your bits and leave you bloody, swollen and sore!

Well I'm not particularly looking forward to it but I want a smooth finish :D and shaving, hair removal cream (burns downstairs) and waxing myself doesn't work - I can't wax myself properly because I know how much pain Im inflicting if that makes sense and it prevents me from pulling the strip off successfully!

    Nope that is a hollywood.

I got a brazillain and she asked me to open my legs!!!

She was going no where near my arse with that hot wax!

Cheeky bitch I don't even have a hairy arse! :D

Brazillian is everything - bald as and effing agony!

My fanjita was red and swollen for a day after! :D
That's what I use and have done for years, cheap, simple and painless :D There's no way I could handle the pain of getting my fandango waxed

    Love it :D

Are you a bloke??! Women don't get their arse cheeks waxed (not unless there is a serious excess body hair problem happening!) the perenium doesn't get hair growing on it and by 'vulva' - I assume you mean the labia majora!

Anyway ladies, I wax my own bikini area and that basically means nearly the lot - i.e. 'Las Vegas' according to Rhinohorn's description. It's not as difficult as you might think :p I do however use pre-waxed strips such as Veet wax strips or Louis Marcel strips. I use packs from Poundland - eight strips for - yes - £1!! You can do a full leg and bikini wax for £3... Give it a go. :)

yep i do my own too, hated going to a salon to have it done

it still hurts like a bitch, but waxing is well worth it

Can I ask the ladies who wax their own - does it bleed at first? I did it once a few years ago and it started bleeding on the first strip so I shaved the rest :D Just wondered if that was normal because I'd probably rather do it myself if I knew I was doing it right

    it sure did!

having a hollywood was my first ever experience of waxing... a baptism of fire not helped by me downing a couple of glasses of vino to help numb the pain.. then there was the blood... apparently, drinking beforehand will increase the chance of bleeding, so I didn't help myself one bit lol

Oh no!! Does the bleeding and swelling go down soon after? Do your bits then look like porn stars nice and smooth? :D Thats the look I'm going for, not a blotchy blood scabbed fanjita :D

the redness goes down after 12 hours or so.

what's worse are the ingrowing hairs that come afterwards

No! It shouldn't. Make sure you are clean and dry, use a very tiny bit of talc to make sure of this. When you whip the strip off, you need to be fast, keep it low down close to the skin (i.e. don't pull up and away from the body, pull along and close to) and also hold the skin taught before you pull. Don't try and rip off too much in one go, :p it's often better to use strips half the size than you would for legs - until you get proficient at least! :)

Yes I think I did do it straight after a shower actually. I might invest in some strips today when I go shopping, but I am SO nervous. At least I have a choice in how much pain to go through rather than going to get someone else to do it for me. Not sure if I can see inbetween though without opening my legs in front of a mirror. Don't normally do that :D:o
