In 2010 he complained that MI5 were harrassing him and not allowing him to leave.

Ahhh...so you intend to stick with the 'other people are doing it so why shouldn't I?' defence.

If you do happen to find out where he lives, I am sure he will be more than grateful for the publicity that you and others are drumming up for him.

The US currently have a $10 mil reward for his capture, find out where he lives then spend, spend, spend!

So, the security services knew his name but refused to release his name? Hmm...

I would have thought that they'd have put up quite a bit more than that. They obviously mustn't want him that bad then. Now, if it was $70m, well...

And to lighten the thread a little:

"Two Muslims have crashed a speedboat into the Thames barrier in London .
Police think it might be the start of Ram-a-dam."

    :D

Doesn't really make any difference to us that we know his name though.

Mozzam Begg's CAGE organisation now having a press conference basically claiming Emwazi was 'harassed' by MI5 and blaming the UK for turning him into a jihadist. They claim Emwazi's trip to Tanzania was an entirely innocent safari holiday.

It may have been much more profitable in terms of intelligence gathering to the security services NOT to name him. Naming him serves little purpose to us apart from finger-pointing but building up a picture of his contacts and movements whilst maintaining his anonimity might be invaluable. Not every piece of information has to or should be immediately put into the public domain

Anyone watching the BBC news at the moment?.

According to the guy from "CAGE" its all the security forces fault that Jihadi John went bad.

It's a bit fake of them to give the impression that they don't know though.

They are saying that it was the fault of the security services that made he behave in such a manner. He was a good boy really!

CAGE are going to get crucified (not the best expression) in the press.

"It's all our fault" is the standard excuse from these scumbags, and plenty on here fall for it.

Why? It may give him a false sense of security

It's the Security Services. They are not supposed to tell us everything, and rightly so.

Keeping secrets and, on occasion, lying about stuff is kind of what we pay them to do. That's part of the whole "being spies" deal.

This is why you don't want to arrest him and bring him to trial cos groups like this will get him off.
