Here is my "setup" somewhat.
Bottom receiever below TV is a Samsung Viasat Receiver for 5e and 19.2e via Disqec Switch
Then above the TV is a Comag HD-S CI100 for HD channels on 19.2 and ontop of that is a old analog receiever for analog at 19.2e
DVB-S2 card in computer connected to 5e and 1w for Viasat Baltics and Canal Digital.
I cannot understand people not tidying up and hiding cables before posting pics of their setup, or maybe my OCD for things lookign tidy just wants to take over.

No loads of these rooms look like such a state I wouldnt let my cat hating dog live in them
Hi guys, loooooooong time lurker on here! Got loads of info from the forums here! Been that long since i actually logged in, i forgot all details! So i've re-registered!
So no optical from HD box to amp to get the 5.1 DD surround from your otherwise neat set up? Guess you don't need it if no rears connected yet, but at least the front 3 would be better.....
cant believe some of your boxes still working
some are chisled into small spaces with stuff on top and below so no airflow around them
also some have them on top of amps where the amps main airflow grills sit so adding even more heat to the box
i know space is sometimes compromised but you got to be carefull .
I have a Digimate DGM 32" LCD TV
Sky HD Box
Freeview HD Box
and a Freesat HD Box,
I also have a V+ Box (not pictured)
I am afraid that I do not have
a Blue-Ray Player/Recorder yet
My televisions are truly having a proper
Cable TV connection to them,
they get their signals from the Television Aerial,
Satellite Dishes and by Fibre Optic Cable,
just like how Virgin Media receives their signals

Here's my collection of old grey and new black boxes. My stereo system might be old hat but it still sounds very impressive and I can't bear to part with it after 10 years.
Here's mine. HD box is in the living room and connected by HDMI over CAT5 extender. This is actually just my movie/sport/games room... But it's more interesting to look at than the living room.

The design of the room reminds me of the house in Beetlejuice. You just need a few large sculptors about the place.:D

Nice, how good are the Kef speakers? Excellent or amazing?
they are good, but to honest i have still to configure the amp specifically for them, so i am probably not getting the best out of them.
and as for the rears, i still don't even have them connected - due to strange room layout making it almost impossible.

yes i am using HDMI and optical to the amp from HD box
Nice pics by the way!
some more new bits
could never have all the ornaments around the tv .would put me right off watching anything.

Maybe your next upgrade should be a duster

No cats I'm afraid.
Any new ones? Let's see some Sky World 3D set ups or your glossy new 1TB box.
Just not had much time but will have to pop down to Argos some time.
