I ran across this thread and thought it was quite funny that people are complaining about seeing their nose for the first time

I can see my nose, but my brain normally does filter most of it out unless I pay attention to it.
Maybe your brain can be damaged slightly so that it no longer filters out the nose and makes it more noticeable and irritating all the time, and I suppose you would have to suffer from this to understand what it really feels like.
It has never happened to me, but I actually do think that this is quite interesting...
Everyone can see my nose.
