Most amusing non-swear word insults?

I'm sure that we've all come across situations when we want to swear or insult someone with swear words but can't for reasons like email screening out rude words or while in polite company.

BUT what is your preferred, most amusing, insulting terminology to get around this blockage?

I quite like calling people 'grinch faced' and remember reading a delightful article dissing the Conway Sisters from X Factor as 'the poundstretcher Corrs'!!!

Suggestions without swear words PLEASE!!!!

But mine works well if, while having an argument, you turn to the audience and say "This from the only survivng brain donor!". :D

    "You warty hog".

    My favourites are:

    "You sad act."

My Mum is quite taken with the phrase "one chip short of a happy meal" :D

Personally there are loads of non swearing words / phrases I like although I never get bored of "mug", it's such a non offensive word but you can say it with such venom.... I also love the word "muppet"

Numpty and muppet are a favourite of mine if I'm being affectionate and just teasing...

If I'm trying to be insulting though then I'd go for something more along the lines of imbecile, moron, fool or Cairy Lunt's cretin is a good one too...
