At a wild guess, try contacting other local hairdressers to see if she's joined them?

Do you have to find her? Can you not just use a different hairdresser?

Has she got a facebook where you could contact her and ask where she's now working?

Have you got a little crush on this particular hairdresser?

There are plenty more about and not worth getting stressed over.

Good hairdressers are hard to find in my experience. O.P, I don't believe they don't know where she's moved to. They are not going to tell you because they don't want to lose your custom ;) I had my hairdresser leave the salon I go to, she was very good and I liked how she did my hair. They wouldn't tell me where she'd moved to, and the receptionist got into trouble when she told me she'd gone to work in another town.

I think you'll just have to find someone else.

I'm not keen on going to the hairdressers, and when you find one who does your hair well, you want to keep going to them.

If she has moved far away, you have to will have to just find another. And it's not easy.

Intelligent hairdressers always take their old clients with them.

That's pretty damn creepy, it has to be said. Leave comments on her youtube page saying, MY HAIR LOOKS GREAT. CUT IT AGAIN! :D

Will she still cut your hair, or has she moved out of town?

My favourite hairdresser gave up the job completely. She was the only one who did my hair "right"

How many times have you left the salon and looked good, but once you wash it at home, the hairstyle goes, as it was all blow dried to within an inch of it's life and you can't style it at home the way they do.

I'd rather go to the dentist that get my hair cut

He said he found her on Youtube but he's edited his post. I think it was Youtube he said and not the other similar named site.

I did a search and i dont know how, but i found out she is also an aspiring singer who has just released a single, myspace page, is on youtube etc.
I wont post the details as its not fair, respect for her privacy.

The only thing is, if i now contact her through one of these outlets, it might seem a bit creepy. Shame because she is a really good hairdresser. Maybe she has quit altogether.

Ah well, i'll just have to find someone else.

    No I understand :)

But you did know her full name then ? I have never known the surname of any hairdresser I have ever been too and, at my age, they have been many and multivarious :o

Just her first name. I did a search by first name and location. How an earth i came across the rest of the stuff, i'm not sure. Pure luck.
