How does the xboxone TV stuff work regards to input? Am I right in thinking it won't work with a TV with a built in tuner? So it's only aimed at cable/sky customers? Can it take a feed from a humax PVR?

Iv'e had all sorts plugged in mine. At the moment i have my chromecast plugged into the back which allows to use my xbox to stream all my tv and movie stuff from my computer.a Humax pvr would also work.
Just make sure you set your box to output 1080i, not doing so caused me a lot of problems, this may not affect everyone but my freeview box has to be 1080i
Ah... that is a really cool idea.
I still think it's pointless routing a Sky/Virgin box via the Xbox One - extra power, extra controller, etc. without any actual benefit at all.
But using a Chromecast is an interesting option...
Xbox channel guide / channel changing all quicker via xbox than using the Tivo remote direct. Leagues faster and who doesn't like the "Xbox Watch History" and have it change right over. Plus SNAP anyone. The BrazilNow app waas a decent attempt for side by side app for sports. I think it's worth it, and switching from tv to game ith voice s seemless and fast.
There must be good ones now that are external.
Snap doesn't appeal to me. I don't want TV snapped while playing a game or vice versa.
Nope.
