She's making that comment to the camera, which will then be broadcast on national TV. His family and friends will presumably be watching - not to mention her own family and friends - as well as anyone else in the country who happens to be watching. It is a completely inappropriate comment for her to make, the pinnacle of what seemed to be a whole host of inappropriate comments from her throughout the evening.

And what is with the pointless Maitre'd interrupting the females on a date! So not needed. Bring back the original formula.
Yes the maitre'd made a fool of himself when he went over and addressed the female about her tattoos and ignored the male. He is a plonker and I wish we did not have these unnecessary additions to the format.

Yes I thought that was out of order actually....clearly capitalising on her attraction to him and rendering her poor date ineffective. I think the date waved his arms around helplessly.
I find his philosophical musings patronising and wonder what his relationship status is, i.e. whether that is some kind of hallmark from which he feels qualified to reign superior.
Yes, it was a grave mistake to try and involve the staff and make the Maitre D' a star. I suppose it's too late to do anything about it now as presumably the whole series has been recorded.
