Wow -

I was shocked to see how old Robin Williams looked on this recent sketch from Sesame Sreet

He's only 61 but could easily pass for 85!!!

Alcoholism isn't exactly famous for making you look younger. ;)

I think the beard has a lot to do with it. If he lost that, he'd possibly look alright for an older bloke who (refreshingly) doesn't appear to do cosmetic surgery.

He looks like a normal 60 year old. It's the beard.

Drink, drugs....he's done it all and luckily for him, survived it.

As he once said 'Cocaine is God's way of telling you that you've got too much money'

In that clip he appears to have as much hair on his forearms as on his face...... :D

I think it's the beard too, his face doesn't look older than early 60s. He looks natural too, so that's probably why some people think he looks older, because they're used to seeing some film stars having all sorts done to themselves to make them look younger.

He has such kind eyes, and is one of the worlds most gifted comedy actors.

So, I don't mind how old he looks!

I don't think he looks old for his age, he just grew a beard.

Stewie: "Look, Brian! Meg is one of the sensitive, bearded Robin Williams characters!"
... is one of the worlds most gifted comedy actors.
He wasn't funny in Mork and Mindy and he hasn't been funny since.

He's a one-trick pony and even that trick is crap

I agree to a certain extent. His films can be a bit hit and miss. However, similar to Steve Martin, his early live standup was excellent imo.

I was just about to say the same thing, big grey beards don't do any favours to an older man..
