Cobbleheads! :)

Welcome to the first Corrie thread of the week and thanks to Aggie and Oldnajaded for the last two threads.

Hope you all had a good weekend and haven't been affected by the winds raging across the south of England today.

If you want to find out what’s in store in tonight’s episodes then full details can, as always, be found by clicking below:-

First Episode
Tina is still gunning for Tracy when she receives a large bill for the smashed shop window. Desperate to end the feud, Rita tries to talk some sense into Tracy, but Tracy just laughs in her face.

Also wanting to end the feud, Rob catches up with Tina. Playing on the strain this is placing on Rita, he offers a deal - he'll pay for the repairs if Tina will publicly apologise to Tracy, who can never know of their deal. Will Tina agree?

Meanwhile, given hope that Leanne will return, Nick pushes himself to the limit with his physio exercises. Gail confides in Kylie that she's worried he's getting his hopes up and Leanne may never return. But when the subject of Leanne is broached, how will Nick react?

Elsewhere, as Tim moves his stuff into Sally's, Faye is unimpressed. Grace offers to show her how to make Sally's life a misery, but what has she got in store for poor Sally?

Also, against Carla's wishes, Peter introduces a bonus scheme at the factory for the most productive worker.

Writer: Ellen Taylor

Second Episode
Rob covers when Tracy demands to know what Tina was insinuating, and Tina learns from Rita that Rob tricked her into doing a deal with him.

Angry, Tina readily tells Tracy all about it. Tracy is left questioning her relationship with Rob. She loves him, but he's a made a fool of her - can she trust him?

Meanwhile, as Nick is gripped by a panic attack, a passing David rushes to his aid and ushers him back inside Number 8. David is full of concern for his brother, but will Gail, Audrey and Kylie allow him back into the fold? At the same time, Nick clings onto hope that Leanne will return.

Elsewhere, with Grace whispering in her ear, Faye asks Anna if she can have a Halloween party. Anna agrees to think about it, but when Faye starts pulling on her heartstrings as instructed by Grace, claiming she just wanted something to look forward to after all that's been happening with her dad and Sally, will Anna fall for it?

Also, Beth is very impressed with Sinead's sewing.

It won’t be long before the end of October is here so it’s time to start thinking about your team for November’s Corrie Challenge.

Don’t worry if you have played before. The game is a bit like a simplified version of Fantasy Football so if you fancy having a go just read the rules below. And, if you're an Emmerdale viewer you can play the Emmerdale version of the game. Just check out any of this week's "Emmerdaily" thread for instructions.

Anyway, it’s a very easy game to play. The object of the game is to pick a team of 11 characters from those listed below which you think will score the more points than the other people playing the game.

Once you’ve whittled your shortlist down to 11 characters you will then need to nominate one of them as Captain. This character will have their score doubled so you’re really looking to identify the character which you think will score the most points during the month to maximise your chances of winning.

Then, simply post your choices on the thread or send them to me via PM, and keep an eye out for the Monday Episode Thread to see how your “team” is doing in the score updates.

The scoring system works as follows:-

+ 1 point per episode appearance

+ 1 point for the character that speaks the first words in the episode.

+ 1 point for the character that speaks the last words in the episode before the break.

+ 1 point for the character that speaks the first words in the episode after the break

+ 1 point for the character that speaks the last words in the episode.

+ 1 point for any kisses on the lips. If you have both characters who kiss in your team each character will receive a point.

+ 2 bonus points for any character that appears in 5 or more episodes during the week. In the event of any episodes being transmitted on a weekend the week will run from Monday to Sunday.

+ Remember that your team Captain gets their score doubled!!!

Once you’ve done all that you can also pick a name for your team. This will be listed in the Score Updates.

Your “Starting List” for November’s Corrie Challenge is as follows:-

Remember you need to select ELEVEN characters (including a captain) – no more, no less.

    The Rovers

    Steve
    Liz
    Michelle

    Deirdre
    Peter

Are we sure Mawdsley Street is going to be featured. From that shot it just looks like a better constructed back drop? The houses only seem to have a back half.

    Thanks, RK! Hello everyone.

New computer tower, therefore no sound, no YouTube. We're idiots when it comes to this stuff. Told 98% of clients finish in 5minutes; we can never beat those odds. 5 hours yesterday & still not up-to-speed. Urgh........
