Rubbish Mrs O. He chose a great song.
He looked uncomfortable because he had to crowd surf.
Dont agree with Gary he sounded great.
Good for you Nichole.
I feel a bit sorry for him, messed up the guitar at the start and looked scared after that.
Fact is, he isn't good enough and whoever is voting for him needs their heads knocking together.
I agree entirely. He's probably going to go this week, and to be honest has gone as far in this competition as he could reasonably expect given the strength of the other contestants (and this own weakness).
However...
If it is true, as he said, that the click track feed into his ear was lost and that was what led him to lose his concentration, then I do extend sympathies to him as I would for anyone who suffers technical failure - but esp one like this which the audience would have not been aware of.
We must be watching a different show. Best so far for me tonight. Really admire his strength. Loved him:)
. . .Or maybe the rest of us are watching it with the sound on? Maybe that helps inform our judgement.
(And please, unless you're a true devotee of postmodernism, spare me the 'subjectivity of art' spiel.)
Sam C gave his usual weak vocal performance. Luckily for him, there was less for him to foul up vocally, so he didn't reveal the lackluster quality of his singing as much as he has in weeks past.
However, he did make up for that by fouling up his guitar-playing (hasn't he been wittering on about his chops as a musician?), his timing, and his presentation. (He really did look like he was dogged by a bad smell throughout. . .)

Every week he says "He always gives 110 (150 tonight) %, he's the hardest working contestant, you made it your own."
If his huge following on Twitter is voting for him he'll be in the final and will probably win - which will be a total farce.
He could certainly get a job on kids tv or presenting something, but he's no singer.
