Always thought that she was a very smart lady... she seemed to burst onto the media when that white suited guy got into parlement at the expense of her husbands country seat.

They used to appear together on tv as an item, but now Christine has become a bit of a media pundit in her own write and Neil stays at home.

I'd say she danced a jig over Max Clifford's imprisonment!

I've got a real soft spot for this lady, her unapologetic, utter Britishness never fails to make me smile :)

She's very fond of saying 'nonsense on stilts' which for some reason I find hilarious :D:D

Shes a bit of a live wire on the quiet... appearing on stage
in plays ( the V Monologues ) doing the TV reality shows, writing books, writing for newspapers and magazines, public speaking... the list goes on !
( she hits 65 later this year )

It's usually nonsense but I have heard of other things being 'on stilts' too :D

I've met her a couple of times. I was left with the impression of someone who's pleasantly insane. Harmless enough, but bonkers.

She doesn't suffer fools, and speaks her mind without making any apologies for doing so. I like her.

I like Christine Hamilton, she's like your crazy old Aunt, mad as a box of frogs, hilarious on both I'm a Celeb & Louis Theroux.
Absolutely shameful what Max Clifford put her & Neil Hamilton through.

Lol nice. At school we used to say: 'Sh1t on toast on wheels' if something went wrong.

Not as quaint as Mrs H's expression but it got the job done.

WHEN that guy in the white suit appeared from
nowhere and stole her husbands safe Tory seat...
it messed up Christine's privileged life.

The generous MP s salary was gone, the
lucrative travel expenses were no more
    poor Christine faced ruin.

She responded by carving out a career in the media and to a large extent she has succeeded.

Poor Christine Hamilton was totally cheated out of first place in 'Celebrity Masterchef' all because of sheer blatant favouritism from the odious creep John Torde towards Lisa Faulkner who was the undeserving winner of CM then he went on to have a relationship with Lisa!! >:(

Isn't it just, good old Christine brings people together. I am still waiting to drop the 'nonsense on sticks' expression casually into conversation:D
