Scoundrel Days has to be one of my all time favourite albums, primarily down to Weight of the Wind and the soft rains of april (which is epic).
    .

The only average track on the album is probably Maybe Maybe!

Manhatten Skyline is another epic track.

It makes me chuckle when he sings 'Maybe it was over when you threw me out the Rover..............at full speed' :D

    Bangles

Beat me too it. I want 'Dover Beach' played at my funeral.

Well, that and 'Purple Rain' by my other favourite of the 80's, Prince & The Revolution.

    Bangles

Very under-rated the Bangles. Still love there music. Always loved the drums in there tunes.

Yep, imposible to choose for me as a 45 year old fan of all the great Thrash, glam, prog, Indie and Goth bands from the 80's.

But....If I had to choose it would be the one band and track that really changed everything for me.

    Motorhead - Ace of Spades

I have requested it to be played at my funeral.......not for a longtime yet hopefully, I should add.

"That's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live forever."

Lasted almost 5 months into the 80,s with Closer and Love will Tear us Apart being a part of the decade. That qualifies them.

There's a very good reason why.

Sorry I've been busy the past few days. But, why?

I'll opt for The Pogues. I like every song on the original release versions of their first three albums. 'If I Should Fall From Grace With God' is one of my top five albums.
