Fasting blood test (water allowed) - is one allowed sugar free squash?

If one is sent for a fasting blood test, and is allowed water only, would this allow also sugar-free squash?

    No (at least that was what the nurse told me when I did a fasting blood test - and if you think about it it makes sense)

    No-That's why they say water only. A neutral ph .Squashes contain minerals and acids that will affect blood balance, etc.
