Yeah he stayed a bit apparently. My main point was he didn't do the afternoon show!

He did not come out to the bar area where he was meant to, not many people got to meet him because of this as people were not allowed back into the rink once they had left we were all told to wait in the bar area, only those that ignored the staff got him

It would be slightly unfair to say he didnt take time for his fans as he did hang around inside the arena afterwards signing autographs and taking photos for a while. I believe he was dj'ing in Manchester later in the evening so may not have had time to stay too long.

Just thought I would post my views on it, I agree if I had afternoon tickets I would have been very disappointed if they hadn't announced anything. From Chris side I guess corrie is his main job and if they won't let him have time off there isn't much he can do about it.

Considering Chris Fountain had signed up to do the Ice Party shows at least 6 months ago, his reason for pulling out of the matinee doesn't wash with me. If the Corrie producers wanted him to do filming, he needs to grow a backbone and tell them that he has a show to do and can't let his fans down who have paid to see him. After all they gave Andy Whyment time off for the DOI Tour, so I'm sure they could have arranged something for 1 day! Let's not forget that Matthew Wolfenden also has a very hectic schedule, and he managed to appear despite being injured.

As for meeting people after the show, to be honest I always treat that as a nice bonus. The point still stands though, that even if Mr Fountain had signed 1000 autographs that night, its not much comfort to those who expected to see him in the afternoon show!

we were there and Chris and Brianne did come on the ice for awhile after the show!we waited out the front and the first skater out was Colin.He was out for at least half an hour signing and having pics taken like he has after every performance whilst Brianne popped out for a few minutes!the oxford freestylers were mingling as well for ages!just as they and Colin did on friday!But we never saw anyone else!pity for fans who have stood there for ages waiting tho-unless of course you were like us and went to see Colin so were very happy!!The freestylers were absolutely fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed the show both times we went!roll on next year

Thanks, that explains why people were disappointed. Still not half as bad as him missing a show though!

Wasnt too bothered about him missing a show as meant I got an extra show with Dan and Karen!
