That's nothing - Muttley was doing that years ago and co-piloting planes.

"The canine driving school is aimed at proving how intelligent the animals can be".
They have proved that but it leaves some serious doubts about their own. |

I read the headline and thought "But Katie Price and Kerry Katona can drive already". Then I read the article and find it's the 4 legged kind...............

Nobody better teach my dog to drive. She'll be out joyriding and ramraiding before you know it.

If only we'd thought of this in this country. We could've opened up a new market for Rover cars and saved the company.

I would be happy to be driven around by a Labrador or golden Retriever (intelligent) but not by a beagle or Dalmatian (both thick and barking mad).
German shepherds, rotties etc might be prone to road rage so I'd probably avoid them, and collies because although intelligent they would drive right up the bumper of the car in front and follow them home instead of going to my house. |

Coincidentally I was reading a story today about Aliens attacking the Earth in order to kill all the Canines as their eagerness to learn was a threat to the rest of the galaxy.

I think dogs should be taught to cycle (and pass their cycling proficiency test) before they even think about getting in a car.

Wonder how they'd cope with parallel barking?

Just as long as they keep off the pavements.
Blimey I see they've already started training. http://myfbjokes.com/wp-content/uplo...g-on-cycle.jpg |
