I only caught this in passing as a trailer whilst accompanying my daughter to a showing of Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2*.
Has there really been a remastering of this, the most perfect of not one but two genres? The best action thriller and the loveliest Christmas film. Can't find anything on the interspaz. All info welcome.

I can see why nobody would get excited about a remastering of it.
Its a top notch movie but even the deleted scenes would not improve it so I can't see what they could do to make it marketable again
I do try and watch the first 2 of the series around Xmas time but I can't say I'd describe it as the loveliest Xmas film though.
