A well-deserved win for Kate Atkinson's novel Life After Life:

I read this during the Summer and it's simply stunning. Anyone else read it?

    I started it but ended up only able to read it in short bursts so ended up shelving it. I may try again when I've got time to read in longer stretches.

    I did find the first couple of chapters somewhat repetitive but that is the nature of the plot. Get past that it's a terrific read and you realise that the opening chapters are a great lead-in to the rest of the book.
