If we can try to remove the passports of UK citizens who are fighting for ISIS, then I don't see why we can't try to do the same for Mr Morgan.

    *runs away before lynching commences*

But as the new series of Life Stories is underway, maybe this is the news the OP was referring to.....?

Piers is a national treasure just below the Queen, Stephen Fry and Simon Cowell. However given his success in America I don't see why he'd want to come home.

Was that meant to be humorous. A national treasure, in what context?:D:D:D

Piers is a national treasure just above Jimmy Savile and Jim Davidson. However given his complete and utter faiure to catch on in America I don't see why he'd want to continue in the media industry.

Piers is a nasty, arrogant little man, desperate to raise his profile and he'll tread on anyone to do it.

I'm ashamed to know he exists.

Probably in the context that many people would like to bury him

Doesn't bother me if Piers is coming back to Britain. I think he's okay.

In that he is something of tremendous value, belonging to the nation as a whole. We are all enriched knowing we have Piers alongside us.

Okay on a serious note, consider this. Back in 2002-03, he was virtually the only major person in the British media who stood up to Blair and Bush.

That may be so. I agree with his recent stance on gun laws.

Regardless, he was the odious understudy to the utterly repulsive creature that is Kelvin MacKenzie. Shame Brett Lee didn't knock his head off when he bowled at him a while back.

His regular meltdowns on Twitter regarding Arsenal amuse me greatly, though.

If he got a knighthood and became a member of the European Parliament he could be Sir MEP Organ.
