Taking my art to another level. Caricatures Of The Campers.

After my very successful X Factor thread in which I did caricatures, I've decided to bring my talent over to IAC.

Please understand that I have very limited supplies so what you're seeing is only a fraction of what I'm capable of.

I've had to resort to drawing on A4 Paper!!

If you're an artist yourself then you'll know that these are extremely poor conditions and situations to work in/with. Least I've not started drawing on cigarette packets or walls as suggested by a few fans prior to my announcement of short supplies.

If it goes down well then I will carry on. Just let me know who you'd like me to draw and I'll do it for you and put it in here.

Thank you.

Thomas. x

Couple I've done so far, both copied from still images:

P.S - If you didn't know already then an article was actually published with my work in on Digital Spy. You'll find it in the editor's blog on here. :)

Yes I work as a waiter, but it really bores me.

When I'm there I'm always thinking about the day someone sees my work and publishers it for me in art galleries around the universe. That is what I'm aiming for.

The success of such greats like Rolf Harris, Mackenzie Thorpe etc.

I'm really sorry that they're not my best.

The Shaun one was done with dodgy crayons. Like wax ones and they're awful to work with. It doesn't matter how much pressure I give the crayon, I still can't get that right texture and colour going. :(

I think, personally, I've captured them well though.

I've done Gillian's face too fat though.

I am surprised by some of the replies. I think they are rubbish.

    What do you mean?

I've been told they're fantastic by lots of people on here. Just see my X Factor thread.

    Yes. :)

I mean I don't like them Thomas. Good for you. No thanks. Listen - If you want to call yourself an Artist you will need to learn to accept criticism. :)

These are fantastic! Although the Gillian McKeith one looks more like Lee from Blue

I wouldn't mind joining in, if that's ok with you. I don't want to steal your thunder though, with my incredible artistic skillz

No I didn't. I just happen to draw in a way that looks like pixels. Believe me, it takes ages to get that effect

I do like the way you've incorporated "Dr." McKeith's shitty fingers. Admirable work.

They are not caricatures, and they don't create the right impression.

The new Caravaggio...such mastery of chiaroscuro and subtle use of iconography.
