I would say a hot water bottle may be helpful, but that won't go down well as Ebony doesn't do heat...:(

You need Simethicone, I'm not sure what it's called in the UK, here its called Bloateze or Imogas. Go to the pharmacy in the morning and ask for it. Rennie Deflatine would be another one you can take. It'll get rid of the trapped wind and the pains associated with it.

Rest your stomach till the morning, have peppermint tea if you have it in. Take a painkiller if the cramps get really bad.

    Thank you

I've never taken anything for 'trapped wind'. How does it get rid of the trapped wind?

Does it just make you fart?

    Essentially yes

The trapped wind occurs when the little bubbles of fart gas get caught in between whats in the stomach and can cause discomfort or pain, the drug works by binding the little bubbles of fart gas together to make big bubbles which are easier to pass and not painful. So lots of big farts yes!

That's my understanding of it anyway :p

Haha. I had a phone call from a patient once who had used it at home for bowel prep prior to elective surgery.

"I've filled the toilet bowl up all the way to the top!!!"

An exaggeration but you get the idea...

I have no need to go to the doctors, certainly can't go at 22:40

Love how annoyed you get at my topic, you think you're going to stop me posting, well it isn't

I would not be surprised if this thread lasts more than 10 pages. That's if it doesn't get moved to Advice of course.

You shouldnt stop posting Tinks, I have my own little game at home now which is to see how long it takes for each of your threads to show its true intention of mentioning how whatever it is you're asking about is related to your HMS.

Thats your HMS. The HMS which you suffer from.
