Ipods just died! Help!

Hi, i was listening to my ipod nano 4gb when i thought i turned it off, i was playing solitare and listening to music hwen i turned it off. Now it won't turn on, even when connected to the computer and speakers, all i'm getting is a blank screen! Can anyone help me?
