I wonder what Chloe thought of Wen's "Ginger" remark

Chloe looks like she has more than half a brain. She probably saw it as representative of the halfwit Wen looks like.

well... so far... i have learnt:

Mark Wright can not read an autocue

Mark Wright is not a very good presenter

Mark Wright cant talk and walk at the same time.

So far Mark Wright has had about 10% of the lines that the other presenter has had.

    Wise decision.

Mark Wright is so orange his head is merging in to the background

AND he has a really famous saying he says to everyone

    *drum roll*

"There is someone out there for everyone"

Wouldn't expect anything else - he's a talentless, pointless nobody

    The advert shoud be:

If you want to see someone who's more wooden, and has even less charisma than Paddy McGuiness.. then Mark Wright's on ITV2.

I fear Gracie is going to be drawn out as this series comedy character. Problem being she isn't funny and is a irritating cow. On Mark Wright, me thinks he will be finding himself back in TOWIE after the series with this 'presenting' experiment.

I agree, she is just annoying and we will not get rid of her all series.

Did anyone find out why they have to call Tenerife, Fernandos.

The only person that is more wooden than Mark Wright is Pinocchio, even he became real in the end, I do not think that is going to happen with Mark Wright.

WTF! she said (no description of 'her') she said: "Can't do Ginger"?

What if she'd said 'can't do asian', 'can't do black'. 'can't do mixed-race'?

Where's this island of Fernados then? It's not a real island so wonder where they send them!

    Loved it :D
    One of my guilty pleasures
As much as I like Mark Wright, I don't think much of him as a presenter. And lay off the tan mate

My daughter and son are ginger and they found the remark very offensive.

They have suffered the usual taunts through school and do we really need airheads making these stupid remarks on tv.

Anyway what is the problem with hair colour. I don't get it.

I'm with you there. I got the taunts at school as well ("ginger minger", "ginger p u b e s" etc) - mostly by 2 girls (1 was black and the other mixed-race, this and worse stuff went on for 4 years of primary school and the headteacher wouldn't do anything as he "didn't want to be seen to be racist" - his words but that's another story altogether)

I think a possible part of it could be that we subconsciously associate red hair with the Celts (ie Ireland, Scotland) - and there is a bit of an old rivalry there.

Anyway, thoughts on tonight's show (it does always annoy me when they pick the better looking person every bloody time):

Guy number 1: Seemed alright enough, but you could tell that Joanna was going to be picked (Cheryl Cole/Imogen Thomas lookalike, Stacey Soloman soundalike). LIGHT ON

Guy number 2: I felt so sorry for him, he was from Birmingham which is not too far from me. I think a lot of the girls there are just really shallow when it comes to hair colour I'm afraid. He could have helped me with my fear of snakes. LIGHT ON (Disgusted by Wen's remark, and so were my family who were watching it with me - complaints to Ofcom? :D )

Guy number 3: In all honesty, the last guy was better looking. Again, you could tell who would be picked (poor Ashleigh, I fear she will be this series' Corinne) - poor guy. LIGHT OFF

Guy number 4: Put off him straight away by the whole "shirt half tucked" thing. Warmed to him by the end though. Once again, no surprise on who he was going to pick. LIGHT OFF

Overall - it's predictable as when it gets to the final 2 each time, you know what the result will be. If bookies offered odds on it, I'd be doing very well at the moment. Poor George, he did not deserve a blackout (there's a lot of us who find redheads quite attractive, myself included, but none of them seem to be on this show).

^^ Apologies for the long post :)
