michael myers.... the scariest psychopath in film.... scared the living crap out of me when i was younger. in the original film, it was the fact he was silent, there and then not there, his expressionless face/mask and that you had no idea what made him the murderer he was (other than dr loomis ranting 'he's evil'). his impact has reduced as the character has been watered down over too many sequels, but his original impact cannot be denied
Spike from Buffy. Decent villain/character for the first few seasons, but his most despicable act by far was single-handedly ruining the show in later years.

I agree with this one. What freaked me out was the relentlessness and the lack of any human trait any victim could appeal to or work out how to deal with.

" Iz it safe? "
His performance makes this one of the best thrillers you are likely to see on TV.
It walks all over most of the thrillers you can see at the box office, with a fraction of their budget.
Plus he was a really cool bloke, like you'd want to be mates with him, plus he was only helping his war buddy John Creese out.
:D
Peter & Paul - Funny Games
General Vidal - Pan's Labyrinth
He nailed a puppy to a tree for valentine's day
You've got to love him, he was played really well by Alan Rickman as well
Chucky, from the Child's Play movies, is a great villian too.

Hans Landa, Inglourious Basterds
Nurse Ratched, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
He has a very heightened sense of smell apparently
