"The "living wage" rate for London, which is calculated on the cost of living in the capital, has been increased to £8.80, a rise of 25p.
The London Living Wage, which is not binding on employers, was also increased last year, to £8.55 per hour."
All political spin from the Mayor :yawn:It's a pittance for people living in London and it's not even binding so what's the point?
How people can live on less than £10ph in London is mystery! I just did a quick search now for jobs in London and see many jobs advertised less than £7ph.
