    Karen had such a good voice on her. It's such a shame that she let a few comments from the media get to her, which then resulted in her losing weight.

    Something I'd like to reiterate: I'm a huge fan of the band and her voice (did the basic text for John Tobler's Complete Guide from 1998) and I'm not running her down at all (don't recall stating that she had a relationship with her brother). Just that, in the 80s when I was in LA doing Beach Boys research, I met a lot of folk in the music biz, and a lot was discussed that wasn't BB-related, and more than once, I was told about KC and her passing, unprompted.
