Hi all,
First off, apologies for not heading into the forums earlier. I've been on leave for a few days (supposedly, anyway - rest assured that you lot saw to that! ) and missed the majority of the fallout earlier.
Secondly, huge apologies on behalf of all at DS for getting it wrong with the design changes. Tech have done their best to revert the changes but I'm sure you've noticed the new header is here to stay in the meantime.
The 'right hand side' is something we need to incorporate in essence but there are better ways of doing it so back to the drawing board we go.
We're the first to admit when we've gotten something wrong so, again, very sorry for not being able to jump in sooner. May I long be destined to forego annual leave.
Thanks for your patience and for being so understanding.

(Hope you get a holiday soon )
Sorry you had to forgo your leave... but saying that, maybe it wasn't a good idea to schedule a redesign for when the forum manager was on leave?
Only thing I'm missing now is the left hand nav but that I will be able to get used to!
Why not put up a beta/test version that people can try out and comment on?
Thanks very much for listening though, it was pretty dire this morning.
Great to see your back to normal and the site is re-added to my bookmarks again.
Maybe when trying out the planned revision you could get volunteer users involved in a "beta" test so you can get some feedback before implementation? Could be useful and I'm sure there's people who'd be willing to help (I know I would...)
