We have just had a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, think its a great piece of kit. Does all we want and has pleanty of apps to explore.

Please don't any use this as a knocking thread for other tablets, they OP is just looking for what we had.

I got a nexus 7. A Christmas present to myself. I think it's excellent. Better than my galaxy tab 2 10.1which I got in the summer.

I didn't get any - already had one - Blackberry Playbook.

My wife got a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 though.

Galaxy tab 2 10.1. Really impressed for the price. Have a 7" already but the bigger screen on the Tab is lovely to use.

I have a Motorola Xoom and recently got a Nexus 7. Both running Jelly Bean.

Unless size matters , then go for a note 10.1

I was thinking of getting a Nexus 7, but there's no microSD card slot and I've read they don't accept any external storage. So I'm looking again, possibly the Samsung Tab 2.

unless you are desperate for 3G or microSD, the specs are much worse then nexus 7

Advent vega, great 10" device for £80 once I had loaded a custom ROM.

Asus transformer TF101, my go to device at the moment and its connectivity and battery life are still probably the best out of any tablet,

Had a Nexus 7 since mid August and im 99% happy with it. My sisters friend got a Nexus 7 for her Christmas and loves it.
My sister loves Apple so I got her an Ipad Mini and she says its great and a nice size to carry around.
Im not a big fan of Apple but I do like the design of the Ipad Mini.

I've got a nexus 7. Very happy with it. Can surf, email, watch BBC iPlayer and ITV player...can use it in WiFi areas. Small for my bag... When they make 4od and 5 app for jelly bean I'll be ecstatic.oh and now got a kindle app for my nexus, and have linked my music via Amazon cloud.... :-)
