Jim's right. He's more attention seeking than Dappy AND Jim put together.
His management obviously told him to try to save the situation by sounding contrite... But he still managed to blow it by sounding like the most self centred dick on the planet.

I'm trying but I'm not sure I'll ever get proper closure. I'm not usually one for the baying mob, but there's one tiny little unkind part of me that wishes he'd gone out to a crowd.....:o.....:D

I hate the crowd usually but he deserved to be booed out of Elstree.
He just can't admit that his actions have caused the way he has been perceived. If he wasn't such a bellend, Casey wouldn't have gotten upset and cried. I hate when people can't take responsibility for their actions.
He's acted like a complete and utter tool, I can't stand him as a person now. I used to find him quite endearing, now I realise endearment was confused with just being thick. No self awareness at all and a liar, as he admitted.

It is a digrace that people are sending him death threats.there is no need.I hope they get reported and arrested.
A fully functioning adult would have kept any correspondence regarding something they saw as a real threat between themselves and the police while it was pursued not used it as a tool to garner sympathy on tv and potentially inflame the situation.
He really doesnt help himself.

I don't think people are especially sticking up for Casey, when she comes out she will have to answer the loaded questions too. People are calling Lee for what he is, lacking self-awareness and not having the patience or courtesy to even try to become aware that he should engage his brain before he speaks. A major part of holding a conversation is to listen and then respond. Lee responds before he even hears the whole question. About time he took some responsibility here instead of trying to come over as picked on,blaming everyone but himself and (IMO) being incredibly tacky.

Yes, almost certainly. And he's so wrapped up in proving to everyone he is one of the good, funny and genuine guys who has been totally hung out to dry that he chooses to ignore that excellent advice. Blimey, even my cat knows when she's in the wrong, why can't he.
