Thanks Geoff. It's pretty incredible really how well it's going. Surgery these days is fab. Had surgery Sunday 7th December, was home for lunch on Thursday 11th. Fantastic! Thought I'd be incapable of doing anything for ages but I haven''t felt this fit in years.
Just had some rather unappetising red wine which was received as a perfunctory Christmas gift, and a glass of white equivalent earlier with dinner. Am now embarking on my preferred tipple of Jamesons' Irish Whiskey and lemonade.
Cant drink due to the meds im on, but, i did sneak two sips of my hubbys Hobgoblin ale, didnt make me go mad or anything and i arent dancing about either.:(
I couldn't possibly look at a glass of alcohol today, not after last nights shinannigans
I always do it, every year I say to myself, Im not going to get too pissed on xmas eve, It ruins christmas for the whole family.... and what do I end up doing?

I was slightly sobered up when I started the thread, having drank a gallon of coffee and tanned the Red Bull!:eek:
Now onto Round Two, Another glass of wine and a bottle Baileys between two of us nearly gone.......
