Car advice - Idle control valve

My car sometimes acts as if its hunting for revs. My odb tells me it goes from 700-900. Can feel it revving. Also on idle sometimes it will stay on 900rpm.
Its a 2001 Ford Focus 1.6 Ghia.
Does it sound like the ICV?

Check the rubber pipes that run along the front of the cam cover for having splits or holes in them....it's quite a common problem.
It's possible also that the throttle body needs cleaning out.
Yes, all fairly simple jobs.
You need some carb cleaner or brake cleaner for cleaning out the ICV and the throttle body.
Check those pipes first, but as Martin said, clean the lot.

Doesn't look too bad, does it seem stable?
Give everything a very good clean and see how you go.
