Got up, ran to m&s to get the last few bits for mums holiday, went to mums so she could show off her new clothes she bought, celebrated a FANTASTIC footy result now waiting on my sister in law to come over so I can cook dinner and she can help me colour my hair.
First saturday off in a month so laid in, did some housework met my mate for lunch during her lunch hour. Walked the dog, did some washing painted my nails and toes and sat here having a nice glass wine before going out at 8 to the pub for a few hrs with the girls (i got ready too early).
Took down a wall, now living room and dining room are one....
Sounds almost romantic!
Blissful day, out in the spring sunshine all day. Went to our local boating lake and park, then to the woods and through a tunnel made of blossoming trees. Watched son throw stones in a stream..Very peaceful day
Went to work. It was a good day and had a great laugh. came home and fell asleep. Now sitting drinking tea and eating biscuits. I really want a sweetie but the shop is 15 mins walk away. Rich Tea will just have to do.
Tried to fix my printer and failed so my clever son said he would do it until he started watching footie and he now says he is now going to do it tomorrow.
Ate a roast beef dinner cooked by my male slave and I am now going to lounge in bed eating banoffee pie.
Now I know that is the wrong words but can't get the right song into my mind. Unless you really did go for a walk through the bluebells in which case lucky you.
It went better than I expected, pretty informal, just like a chat really. Was in there for about an hour. Glad I did some research on the company as they asked questions about it. Asked some questions myself , like what did they like on my cv to give me an interview, that sort or thing for feedback. Anyway I won't hear from them until they finished interviewing others which will take a week.
But I think it went positive. The questions I prepared to answer weren't really asked (like tell me about yourself, that sort) but I answered the others OK. Glad it's over though. Relax now.
Regarding the outcome of this, I received an email saying that they "can't process my application further as they found someone with more experience." Basically, I didn't get it. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed. Not really the best day to get the news either... meh. Shouldn't have looked at my emails this morning. At least I don't have to wait anymore.
Saturday chores, stripped the bed put clean on..done some washing..did some gardening and cut grass..came in to do house work, as there was grass everywhere from treading it in ..hoovered..came in cooked my dinner, watched H&A whilst painting my nails..now on here
Borrowed two dogs to go walking with.
Cleaned the windows inside.
Went to a local farmers market and bought cheese and bread for lunch.
Made a cocktail with my new shaker.
Walked again, dogless this time.
Watching the football now while OH prepares the food for later which I will cook.
Nice day.
Had a very nice full English at a very nice cafe. Had a mooch around a little market town. Went to a National Trust property to have a walk which includes a very steep hill. As a reward for getting up that hill my OH bought me a scone. Went food shopping. Had an early dinner and just about to go out and see Alan Davies do stand up.
Got up late, read a bit of my book. pottered around a bit in the garden, planted 3 lily bulbs, sorted out my window box for planting, cooked a paella for supper and just generally chilled out, it was nice. Oh ! and wasted a couple of hours playing plants v zombies on my kindle this evening.
