What do you think is the worst faux pas? For me its got to be when walking down the street and you see someone you know and start talking, when you say goodbye to each other and you both carry on walking in the same direction.
Anyone got any others?

Oooh! That gets my vote as worst! You'd be blackballed straight away if you did that to me!!! 😜
Sounds painful
That's not a faux pas.
A faux pas is more a long the lines of asking someone how their mother is only for them to say that they died six months ago or something.
I still don't know how that works
Oh it would be!!!😈
Only if it was an accident. It wasn't an accident was it
That's just the worst!
I once called mine "grandma".
Luckily, my teacher knew my grandmother played a big role in my upbringing so I think she knew it was a mistake and not an insult.
A few years ago, we hired a massive villa at the prestigious Royal Westmoreland Golf course in Barbados for a family holiday.
After a round of golf, I strode up to the first person wearing a Royal Westmoreland shirt and cap to hand back the keys to my golf buggy……yep, it was none other than three-time major winner Vijay Singh….
I would have thought if you were a female teacher you could forgive the mistake and find it quite endearing actually.
It's fine, it's the very definition of in loco parentis in fact!
It's not the teacher that's the problem.
"durrrr, Gilbertoo finks Miss Roberts is his Mum, bwahahahahaha!!!!"
Ah yes, well if it was in front of the whole class...children can be cruel to say the least
Hahaha was he gracious about it?!
