    The Queen is 88 tomorrow.

Nice for her that it falls on a bank holiday and not a work day.

Gave up being a corporate lawyer to be a cook? She must have been no good as a lawyer, one decent case a year would make more than full time cooking.

Saves her the embarrassment of no privately funded celebrations.

Chef Janet looks like Jennifer Saunders.

Yep her story doesn't ring true.

Charles and Camilla will give her the bumps.

She does which is unlucky for her.

Tom is spending a lot of cash.

It will not be worth winning if she spends any more.

I would not want the 100 yr old egg. :o

That is new, it only has to remind her of a Cobb salad.

    It sounds vile.

I wonder why someone thought keeping eggs for 100 years would be a good idea.

They are actually aged for about 100 days, a way to preserve eggs.

Janet saved her money and paid the price.

100 days is still bad but I did like the thought of some person keeping an egg for 100 years and then eating it with no teeth while waiting for their coffin to arrive.

They are also called 1,000 year eggs, I imagined a family heirloom that each generation declines to eat.

You got a little boogie from the winner. :)

    Hi Fuddy and FK :)

I've just PM'd SBBA's phone number to someone who I really trust, I'm not brave enough myself to make the call, but hopefully someone can make enquiries.
This may seem an awful thing to say, but I really am nervous now that there won't be a positive outcome :(

So sorry to keep interrupting the thread, in this way xxxx

    Morning FK/Joni. :)

SBBA's been away from the forum for a long time now. :(

Joni - there's no need to apologise for interrupting; for starters you aren't!

    Morning Mazey & Fudd :)

I started drinking at 1pm and finished at 1:40am.

    I am only slightly tipsy.
