Well, it HAS to be discussed at least three times every season....

I'd like Graham Norton or Alexander Armstrong

Knowing how often the BBC gets it wrong with Strictly I would not be suprised if we get Michael Barrymore / Anton Du Beke / Alesha Dixon as hosts which would be horrific.

Bradley Walsh would be my pick (but that could be down to my slightly odd crush on him :o )

Someone quiet and professional who doesn't think the show is all about them.

I really don't want Graham Norton, I hated him on the ALW shows.

I've said Alexander Armstrong in the past, but I like the idea of Sandi Toksvig or Clare Balding, rather than the usual male presenter.

Agree, another Gay male would just be too much. Gay female might be just the antidote.

Ooh, Clare Baldwin would be a great host. First suggestion I have ever been sold on!

My parents would probably opt for Dale Winton

I didn't realise they were both gay until after I'd pressed post. :o

It's just I saw Sandi Toksvig on the One Show this week and I find her very funny, but able to control live tv and she did no 73 when I was younger.

Clare Balding I just think is a very capable presenter.

I nearly added Mel and Sue as well. :o:D but they're a bit puntastic.

Or Julian Clary who was wonderful on the show and on the SCD Tour.

Hmmm. My choices are all very camp. But then SCD is really.

I think Matthew Kelly would be quite a good choice- he's got lots of pedigree with live presenting and is capable of "off- the-cuff" humour.

Only three times? Surely, going by past threads, that has to be at least ten times?

One of them presenting, one in the Tess Pit - the innuendo and puns would be flying everywhere!

I still wonder how "I've never eaten a nun before" made it through to transmission! (Sue Perkins, GBBO - 01/10/13).

To get more viewers from ITV, The BBC had to call in Simon Cowell :)

I too would love Julian Clary but Alan Carr might be kinder to the competitors.

Paul O'Grady would be perfect, but he's not in great health himself. It would probably be Graham Norton I think.
