Lots seem to be from this year, I don't know when this was filmed.

He said he'd decorated in 2008 and Gordon couldn't believe it was only 4 years ago, so 2012.

Just a tad, probably to see if they could do it.

I really like the show. The storyline is simple and Gordon doesn't swear all the time and there was a hooman element to it with the marriage crisis because of the business.

Can't wait to watch the rest of the series! :)

I can't even bear to watch GR on telly. I don't like the look of him nor the sound of him. If he comes on when I'm flicking through the channels ....... he's flicked off in a flash.:D

Same here, can't stand the oaf

The series was first shown in the US starting Aug 2012, so filmed before that.

    Wikipedia has more info.

While this one was 6th & last episode in the US I thought it was a good one to introduce us to it.... seems like the guy is unbearable & Ramsay will walk, but all comes good. In the original order the first 2 progs are both about the same place, whichcould be offputting.

To those who didnt like it... It's Ramsay, you should know what to expect! I love Hotel Inspector but this is a different kettle of fish. FWIW I went to Ramsay's restaurant for my dad's birthday one year;Gordon came out at endof service, chatted, gave us a tour of the kitchen, gave my dad a signed menu. We are just ordinary ppl who happened to have a birthday. It changed our perception and made my dad's day. :-)

I watched this at US Pace. It's certainly true that Gordon is no Alex Polizzi, and no hotel expert in fact. However, in the remaining 5 episodes you will see that he meets far more clueless hoteliers than you usually see on the Hotel Inspector, and he does speak some sense to them. In some cases they are treating their staff so badly that I'm glad he is called in. Also, they are usually high end hotels whereas Alex tends to get called in to more standard B&Bs and small hotels. I really enjoyed it and I am looking forward to series 2.

Wait til you see the hotel designed and decorated by car designers...

Did Channel 4 re-dub it with a English accent voice over?

It was Gordon Ramsey doing the voice over.

Quite! I was a bit taken aback and I've seen it before! If I remember rightly, it happens again in another ep when he has a bath...

Really enjoyed Kitchen Nightmares, but this show is clearly partially scripted and heavily edited.

Not interested in watching any more, it was a bit crap really.

Gordon Ramsay is NO Alex Polizzi!!
Alex is ten times better than this useless waste of space!
    Or Ruth Watson!

I bet that was censored when it aired in the US!

For some reason they are showing it in a different order to that transmitted in the US. Over there, they got a two-parter to start with which I thought was the best of the first season. After that it seemed hit and miss.

The opening titles with Ramsay in ill-fitting biker leathers are ridiculous, but I love the theme tune.

"Hotel, Hotel Hell if you think the beer is rotten you should see the clientele..." :)

Just watching this on catch up.
Just because they have good reviews doesnt mean they are fully booked and making the family money.
It does look filthy so far....
Can't wait to see if he turns it around.
I am a huge Ramsay lover though :)
