Mate, I'm honoured.
Apropos footy, yes, I could have gone back to supporting Lids Lids Lids several times, me being from there, but I've signed up and I'm Palace till I die.

It's been thawing today but there's still a good old layer of ice and snow compacted onto our road. Vicar can't get through to the church in the morning so I'm writing a sermon!
Ooo, you might be doing your sermon right now! Vibes ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It seems a bit warmer here too, which is just as well because we need to get back to a normal routine. And I'm back to worrying about mama - she hasn't answered her phone in a few days now, even when I call early or late. It could be the phone playing up again but you never know...

Me too handy. Hopefully it's just the same old story with the phone not ringing or whatever it was.
Sad - *burps*
It's -14.5 here at the moment and - of course - my car heater has stopped working. The whole thing was iced up inside and out and even the anti-freeze spray thingy kept freezing. I managed to get enough visibility to get out and back home this morning, and I'm now parked in a patch of sunlight, hoping that'll help for when I go to see the mechanic. He can't come to me as his diesel has frozen.
The sledging's been great but I think I'm ready for some unseasonally warm weather now.
Poor little Melony. Give her a gentle hug from aunty batty.
Not much change here. I can't be bothered to even try defrosting the car - it only freezes up straight away anyway, without the heater working - so I'm staying put. Hopefully, it'll all get sorted out this afternoon.
Nothing from ma either. I really hope it's just her phone playing up again.

The Eagle has landed.
Not at all. Twice in 2 minutes, what a blow.
You going to hang out here more often?
I dunno, I thought it was just for grumpy old women. I came lookin for you just to get me Becchio comment in

We can't help being blokey if you lot aren't around. Me, I'm drinking rose cava (don't ask) and you can't get more girly than that.

Melony slept through last night, thank goodness. A bit under the weather today but not too bad.
And I've made it into work, after disinterring the car from a foot of snow. Brrrrrrrrrrrr...
